Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards

The Good Guys customers most satisfied, says Roy Morgan

Electrical retailer, The Good Guys, has taken the top spot for Electrical Retail Stores at the 2012 Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards, presented by Roy Morgan Research last night.

The awards, which were announced at a Gala dinner in Melbourne, saw the collection of data from 50,000 consumers and 20,000 business decision makers throughout Australia, to determine each industry’s most exceptional company for customer satisfaction for 2011.

The Good Guys, with 97 stores across Australia, were awarded the Furniture/Electrical Store of the Year for 2011, outperforming Betta Electrical, Dick Smith, Fantastic Furniture, Freedom, Harvey Norman, Ikea and Retravision.

Michael Ford, CEO of The Good Guys, was delighted with the win, saying it was a great reflection of the high standards of The Good Guys team across the country, and the important role customer satisfaction plays in retail.

“Customer satisfaction is at the core of everything we do as a business. To win this award means a great amount to The Good Guys, who, across the country, work tirelessly and diligently to delight our customers,” said Michael.

Michael was joined by a team of local The Good Guys team members from stores across Australia, identified for their exceptional customer service by the community of customers on The Good Guys Facebook page.

“This award represents the hard work and determination from our great team across the entire organisation, some of whom are here tonight to share this moment,” said Michael.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team for joining me on this special occasion, and to thank the greater team across the country. It is a privilege to work with people who consistently aim to do such good work in our communities,” he said.

The Good Guys has always been committed to doing good, providing more than low prices and friendly and knowledgeable customer service. The company supports a range of not-for-profit organisations, including Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food Australia, to improve the vitality and health of the communities where customers and employees work and live.
